ACM Members Vote For Merger

Posted on Monday, August 16, 2010

Members have voted overwhelmingly to approve the transfer of engagements of ACM to ATL. With 88% voting in favour of the merger it means that from 1st January 2011, ACM will form the AMiE section of ATL.

Peter Pendle, ACM General Secretary said, "This is a very welcome result and has come just as things are starting to get particularly tough in the education sector. It means our professional services to members are now guaranteed and that members will continue to receive high quality support and representation."

Voting on the merger took place during June and almost 26% of ACM members took part in the ballot.
