GFTU Pansion Fund starts process of election of Members’ Trustees

GFTU Pension Trustees Meeting

The Trustees of the Pension Scheme met on Monday 19 April 2010. The main item on the agenda was to commence the procedures to elect three member nominated Trustees. Under the old rules there are two member nominated Trustees but this will increase to three which represents 50% of the Trustee Board. 

Nominations will be sought and for the first time within the scheme pensioners will be entitled  to nominate  and to stand for election.
