  • GFTU has sought to utilise all modern forms of working and communications.
  • internally it has been using IT for its day to day work and constantly updating and reviewing new IT developments.
  • this has tried to allow maximum flexibility within an efficient secure environment.
  • with the new priorities of the Strategic Plan and the Organising Agenda within it the IT & Communications system of the GFTU is being upgraded tp meet these new challenges.
  • assistance has also been given to affiliates in reviewing their own IT requirements and developing links with reliable IT advisers
